The construction equipment industry in India is set to touch $5 billion by FY20. Rapid urbanisation, a growing realty & infra sector, and increasing private sector involvement have increased the demand for equipment across segments.
This has prompted a steady uptick in equipment rental and leasing. Several established infra firms are entering into tie-ups with third party players to make their products and services accessible. MP Group has tapped into this segment and facilitates leasing and rental of equipment.
At present, MP Group has purchased 100 transit or cement mixers which are operational in Bangalore, Calcutta, Mumbai, Goa, Bihar, Patna, and Delhi. With over 83K km of highways to be completed under Bharat Mala, and the construction of 6+ mega ports under Sagar Mala, all cities covered under these projects will see a surge in construction activity. This requires a high volume of transit mixers which MP Group hopes to fulfil.
The acquisition, leasing and hiring of sophisticated piling rigs for metro excavation is in the pipeline. This business is set to grow with more urban metro projects underway.
Concrete is an essential commodity in the infrastructure business, and boom pumps facilitate the fast and easy placement of concrete on-site. To meet the growing demands of residential and infrastructure projects, M.P. Group has entered the business of acquiring, leasing and hiring boom pumps.
